#22: Second Life

I’ve heard a lot about Second Life over the past couple of years and seen and read articles about it.  I haven’t before spent any time exploring Second Life, though.  I find the whole concept of virtual worlds a little difficult to comprehend in terms of the attraction people find in using them and the money that people can earn selling things in a virtual environment. I can, however, see benefits in terms of organisations having a presence on Second Life and in libraries seeking ways to engage people who may not be “traditional” library users.
