#16: del.icio.us

I have  enjoyed setting up my del.icio.us account and adding sites.  I’ve always thought in categories and hierarchies so initially I found myself still thinking about creating folders and sub folders for my bookmarks.  However, I’ve quickly adapted to tags and have found it quite liberating and intuitive.  It certainly makes sense in our environment where students automatically think in keywords, rather than subject headings and technical jargon.  I’ve found it useful to look at the bookmarks of others and have added to my own collection by doing this.  It’s also great to be able to access your bookmarks on other computers.
